As a registered Women's Fair Trade Handicraft Trust, CJW operates under a Board of Trustees (BoT) consisting nine members. The five Board members are elected from the women artisan groups by the artisans. Elected Trustees have a three-year term and are eligible for re-election two terms. The other four members of the BoT : Chairperson is nominated by Caritas-Bangladesh. Director of CJW involves in the BoT as the ex-officio, two Lifetime Trustees (founders of CJW) serving CJW with providing organizational mission, vision and philosophy. As a consequence, Board of Trustees is ensuring the participation of women and artisans in the management and decision making of the organization. Policy taken by the Board of Trustees (BoT). Out of the nine, seven are female. Thus, Board of Trustees is ensuring the participation of women and stakeholders in the management and decision making of the organization. The BoT is the ultimate authority to finalize and approve pricing, costing and policy making and profit sharing.
